Project Management, Partial Engineering, User Interface Design
In collaboration with Das Atelier and Gold Entwicklungen we developed two interactive tables for Bosch Industriekessel GmbH. With these, the fair visitors could inform themselves in a playful way about how much money and CO2 can be saved with the industrial boilers modules offered by Bosch.
The tables consist of a graphical diagram in which labeled glass blocks can be inserted at certain positions. Animated lines show the flow direction of steam or water in the diagram. The glass blocks represent optional modules. Magnetic encoding ensures that each glass block only fits into the right position in the diagram. If a block is placed correctly, it will light up and a data graphic on the screen above the table will show the effects of the module. Multiple modules can be used simultaneously.
According to the customer, the interactive tables were "the clear highlight on the booth“ and contributed significantly to the fact that 40% additional visitors came to the booth and an exceptionally high proportion of qualified leads was generated.
In addition to project management, partial engineering, coordination of all suppliers and interaction design in detail, I was also responsible for the user interface of the table and screen.
